This is for the student who knows they're meant for more — but needs the habits, courage, and confidence to prove it.

You're not wrong to feel concerned.

Your child is growing up with harder classes, constant comparison, social pressure, phone addiction, and a future being rewritten by AI. You know your child is capable. But you also know capability is not enough without confidence, discipline, and direction.

That gap is exactly what this journey was built for.

These Are the Years That Quietly Decide a Lot

8th grade is the launchpad into high school. 9th grade is where habits, reputation, and self-direction start to set. Both years reward the students who walked in prepared — and that preparation starts this summer, not the first day of class.

The Challenge

More freedom, harder classes, heavier workloads, and constant distraction. Many students enter 8th or 9th grade without the time management, discipline, and self-leadership to keep up — and a shaky start can quietly shrink the opportunities ahead of them.

The Solution

The SHINE AND DOMINATE Summer Growth Journey gives your child structure, community, daily action, and powerful principles — so they finish middle school strong, walk into high school confident, and start building the kind of record and character that open doors.

Two Students Walk In This Fall

Whether it's 8th grade or 9th, the difference isn't talent. It's preparation — and it shows up fast.

The unprepared student

  • Overwhelmed by harder classes and a heavier workload
  • Procrastinates, falls behind, and starts on the back foot
  • Loses hours to phones, games, and social pressure
  • Avoids speaking up, joining, or leading
  • Spends the year trying to recover a shaky start

The prepared student

  • Manages time, deadlines, and tougher classes with confidence
  • Builds strong grades from the very first weeks
  • Uses technology with discipline instead of being ruled by it
  • Joins, contributes, and steps into leadership early
  • Builds real momentum and direction for whatever comes next

A confident, capable young adult isn't made senior year. They're built quietly, year after year — starting with the habits formed the summer before.

Focus, leadership, discipline, and self-awareness aren't last-minute achievements. They're the result of a student who started early and stayed consistent — the human skills that matter no matter what path they choose. For an 8th grader or a 9th grader, this summer is that head start.

Built on Real Research — Not Just Motivation

Every one of the 30 principles in this journey is grounded in published, peer-reviewed research — 180 studies in total, across psychology, neuroscience, and education.

Why 66 days?

A well-known study on habit formation (Lally et al., 2010) found that new habits take about 66 days, on average, to become automatic. That's why the journey runs 66 days — long enough for daily practice to start feeling like who your child is, not just something they tried once. That's also why the journey continues into the school year on purpose. Habits practiced inside the real routine are the ones that last.

What the science covers

Sleep and the teen brain. Goal-setting and follow-through. Gratitude, focus, mindset, and belonging. Each principle draws on real findings — from journals like Nature, Science, and JAMA — translated into simple daily actions a student can do in about 15 minutes.

How the Program Works

The journey is simple, structured, and designed to help students practice growth one step at a time.

1

Day Zero Kickoff

Students begin with a live introduction and commitment day. They learn how the journey works, set personal goals, understand expectations, join the private, moderated student community with parent-aware safeguards, and commit to showing up for themselves and the group.

2

30 Life-Changing Principles

Students receive guidance for each principle through short videos, readings, powerful quotes, reflection prompts, and simple action steps. Each principle is practiced over two days; six principles form a 12-day phase, followed by a review day to lock it in.

3

Share, Reflect and Grow Together

Students complete activities, share wins, answer reflection questions, and support one another inside the community — staying accountable and realizing they are not growing alone, but growing together.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who is this program for?

It's designed for students entering 8th or 9th grade — and for families who want their child to build the discipline, leadership, time management, and confidence that lead to a strong finish, a confident start to high school, and the human skills that prepare them for whatever path they choose.

How does this help my child in the long run?

The skills that shape a strong future are built over years, not crammed at the end. 8th grade prepares the launch into high school, and 9th grade is where habits and self-direction start to set. By building focus, discipline, and self-leadership early, your child is better prepared for harder classes, real responsibility, and leadership — and, just as importantly, for thinking clearly, adapting, and thriving in a fast-changing 21st-century world. These are the human skills school rarely teaches directly but life consistently demands, whatever path your child chooses.

Is this just a reading program?

No. Students read, reflect, take action, participate in challenges, share wins, and grow inside a supportive community. The goal is not only to learn the principles, but to practice them in real life.

What platform will students use?

Students use a private, moderated student community with parent-aware safeguards to share reflections, celebrate wins, support one another, and stay connected to the group throughout the journey. Enrollment requires parent consent, and the space is designed to keep students connected to trusted adults, never isolated from them.

What will my child gain from this program?

Students practice focus, discipline, confidence, time management, communication, leadership, emotional strength, responsibility, service, self-awareness, and purpose — the skills that help them thrive in 8th grade, high school, and beyond.

What your student walks away with

By Day 66, the difference shows up where life actually happens.

These are the shifts DOMINATE is designed to build — practiced daily, then carried into real life: school, sports, friendships, family, and the pressure of growing up.

  • ✓ Self-discipline that doesn't need a reminder — they start the day on purpose, not pulled around by their phone.
  • ✓ The confidence to lead — to speak up, make a decision, and stand on their own without needing the crowd's approval.
  • ✓ Resilience under pressure — a real way to handle stress, mistakes, and setbacks instead of folding.
  • ✓ Focus and time control — habits that hold up when the workload and the stakes climb.
  • ✓ Stronger judgment with technology — and the self-control to put the screen down.
  • ✓ A clearer identity and direction — a sense of who they are and what they're building toward.

Not a summer they forget by September — habits they keep living once school gets real.

The Habits That Shape Their Future Start This Summer

Every summer shapes a student. The question is whether it shapes them by accident — or by design.

This summer is ending. What matters now is the momentum your child carries forward. Start now — build the foundation before day one, enter 8th or 9th grade with purpose, and practice the tools inside the real routine until they become who your child is.

Enrollment opens July 19, 2026. Our first cohort is capped at 350 students, so every student gets real attention — join the waitlist now for first access.
